Technology has advanced to the point where designing and operating an all-electric aircraft is completely viable. Our team has been discreetly designing and flight testing this vehicle and is looking for talented individuals to see it through certification and high rate production.


As a configuration management specialist, you will be part of a team that is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the configuration of the airplane. In this role, you will work with a cross functional team of engineers, supply chain, manufacturing and quality as well as external suppliers to implement and support the execution of engineering release and change control processes.


  • Support the engineering teams during the engineering release process
  • Review the engineering data package before releasing to ensure configuration requirements are properly established
  • Communicate the release of a data-package with appropriate stakeholders
  • Drive and support change control activities, including:
    • Review and analyze the engineering change request
    • Collect and provide change data including impacted areas, cost, schedule, risks
    • Assist developing the business case for the change request, and prepare the presentation for the Change Control Board (CCB)
    • Communicate the CCB’s decision to appropriate stakeholders
    • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the change is being progressed on a timely manner, and support problem solving if needed
  • Create and present status reports
  • Support continuous improvement of configuration management related processes and steps in different tools
  • Maintain the Configuration Management Plan


  • B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical or Aerospace engineering
  • Program / Project management experience
  • Experience in change control
  • Working knowledge of Catia and Enovia
  • Well-developed personal skills
  • Great written and communication skills
