Overview

We are seeking a motivated individual with experience to join our to join our 2nd shift  team as an Autoclave Operator Technician. In this role, you will have the opportunity to further develop your skills in operating and monitoring autoclave equipment used in the curing of composite materials. Job duties include machine operations including proper loading and unloading of parts, setting up and adjusting process parameters, and closely monitoring the autoclave throughout the curing cycle.  This role is for experienced autoclave operators. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the loading and unloading of composite parts into the autoclave, ensuring proper positioning and securing for safe curing. 
  • Monitor and record autoclave readings, including temperature, pressure, and cycle times, to ensure proper curing conditions are maintained. 
  • Assist in conducting routine maintenance tasks on the autoclave equipment, including cleaning, calibration, and troubleshooting minor issues. 
  • Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. 

Required

 

  • HS Diploma or GED Equivalent.  
  • Work Shift for this position is Monday- Friday 5:00pm-3:30am. 
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with autoclave equipment in a manufacturing or composites industry setting. 
  • Familiarity with autoclave operations, including loading/unloading, process parameter adjustment, and monitoring. 
  • Basic understanding of composite materials and their curing requirements. 
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and follow written instructions. 
  • Able to lift assemblies weighing up to 50 lbs. 
  • Able to become certified to wear a respirator. 
  • Have no known allergies to epoxies or other composites materials. 
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team. 
  • Commitment to safety protocols and adherence to quality standards.

Desired

The target base pay for this position is $22-$30/hour. The compensation package will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
