Joby's Flight Research group is looking for a skilled embedded SW/HW engineer to play a pivotal role in the development of cutting-edge flight automation systems and novel aircraft configurations.
This engineer will work at the intersection of Software and Hardware, supporting development workstreams end to end from design, testing to continued support for new embedded systems and devices.
The individual will also contribute heavily to software and hardware in the loop simulation and test development. We're looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, takes full ownership, and consistently delivers high-impact results.
This position must meet US export control compliance requirements, therefore a candidate must qualify as a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15. “US Person” includes US Citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees.
Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target hourly rate for this position is $88,800 - $146,800/yr. The compensation package will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
