Overview

Joby Aviation is seeking an experienced Aftermarket Support and Services Program Manager to join our growing Aftermarket Support Engineering Team with a focus on developing our OEM Support and Services Catalogue as we prepare for the commercial launch of our S4 aircraft program. The position will be in our Santa Cruz, CA location. The role will actively work cross functionally with teams in Joby aviation including engineering, operations, product and sales to successfully deploy aftermarket services.
 
The Aftermarket Support and Services Program Manager will be responsible for leading cross-functional activities including:

  • Aircraft Services Sales.
  • Deploying Aftermarket Business Strategies and Processes.
  • The creation and execution of a Product Support Digital Roadmap.
  • Expansion of the S4 services portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Working with cross functional teams to manage and deploy OEM Aftermarket Services and support deliverables.
  • Developing various offerings to meet a variety of internal and external customer needs.
  • Supporting the Fleet Care Team in establishing a world class product support organization.
  • Working with the Joby Sales and Operations Team to develop a portfolio of world class services.
  • Working with the Joby Product and Engineering Teams to realize a product support digital roadmap.
  • Developing business case processes and boards to approve new services.

Required

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering, Marketing, Business or equivalent.
  • 5+ years’ experience in an aftermarket support or services role.
  • Strong understanding of technical marketing, with a customer success mindset.
  • Experience in a highly regulated industry (biotech, pharma, aerospace etc.)
  • Worked on at least one digital roadmap or digital ecosystem project.
  • Passionate about where technical and business intersect.
  • Self-starter who is comfortable solving open ended problems.

Desired

  • Aerospace or Aviation Experience.
  • Experience with product support for large equipment OEM.
  • 3+ years of Technical Sales or Aftermarket Service Sales.

Additional Information

Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $111,300 - $148,400 annually. The compensation package will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
