We’re looking for talented, committed individuals to join our team as we push onward toward certifying the Joby aircraft, scaling our manufacturing, and launching our initial commercial service.

Overview

As an Executive Assistant in Joby’s fast-paced environment, you will be primarily responsible for providing administrative support to our Chief Financial Officer as well as their respective teams. The ideal candidate is proactive, collaborative, a strong communicator, and highly organized. The key to your success is the ability to adapt to ever-changing conditions.

Responsibilities

 

  • Coordinate the daily calendar of the Chief Financial Officer
  • Plan appointments and events with internal and external participants; resolve conflicts as they arise
  • Plan, manage & track action items for each team member
  • Communicate day-to-day project requirements and priorities
  • Facilitate internal communication and lead ad hoc assignments, commensurate with a operations of a nimble environment
  • Book travel for the executive team and, on occasion, important guests
  • Lead timely and accurate completion of expense reports
  • Host visitors and support onboarding of new team members
  • Assist with meeting and event planning
  • Other duties as assigned

Required

 

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum 8+ years of administrative experience
  • Minimum 4 years experience supporting an executive level business leader at a global company
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize leaders' calendar with ability to make judgement calls and decisions based on rapidly shifting priorities
  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced, often changing environment with efficiency and accuracy
  • Ability to take initiative and ownership over sometimes ambiguous tasks and situations with little oversight
  • Experience with planning domestic and international travel
  • Strong organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Experience coordinating projects
  • Ability to work with confidential information

Additional Information

Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $102,000-$136,000. The compensation package will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
