Joby Overview

Imagine a piloted air taxi that takes off vertically, then quietly carries you and your fellow passengers over the congested city streets below, enabling you to spend more time with the people and places that matter most. Since 2009, our team has worked steadily to make this dream a reality. We’ve designed and tested many generations of prototype aircraft capable of serving in a network of electric air taxis. We’re looking for talented, committed individuals to join our team as we push onward toward certifying the Joby aircraft, scaling our manufacturing, and launching our initial commercial service.

Overview

We are seeking an innovative instructional designer to support the end-to-end development of our leadership development programming, from initial design to delivery and administration. This role requires a creative professional who can move beyond traditional training approaches to create and facilitate visual, interactive, and behavior-focused learning solutions that drive measurable change across our organization.

This temporary, hybrid position operates mostly in an office environment with occasional travel to other Joby sites for needs assessment and program delivery. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and may involve flexible scheduling to accommodate SME and learner schedules. Computer work comprises the majority of daily activities, with some time spent on location facilitating training, observing work processes, and conducting interviews.

This is a temporary role, anticipated to last 6 months.
