Responsibilities

  • Support the Corporate Development organization in driving high-stakes strategic decisions at the forefront of the air mobility industry, ensuring priorities are tracked, organized, and executed.
  • Build clear, compelling analyses and presentation materials that distill complex technical and commercial topics for senior internal and partner leadership.
  • Manage cross-functional project workflows—track milestones, follow up on deliverables, and maintain accountability across teams.
  • Assist in developing business cases, market analyses, and financial models to support strategic decisions, partnerships, joint ventures, and potential acquisitions across a variety of high-priority topics.
  • Create and implement processes, dashboards, and tools that allow the team to operate at its best—serving as the glue that binds people and workflows together, enabling us to soar.
  • Prepare concise memos and communication materials for executives, partners, and investors.
  • Collaborate across functions—engineering, operations, government affairs, finance—to align strategy with execution.
  • Coordinate external partner workstreams and ensure joint projects remain on time and on scope.
  • Conduct competitor analyses, industry benchmarking, and whitespace assessments to identify strategic opportunities for Joby.
  • Contribute to corporate strategy projects and provide operational support to the corporate development team.

Required

  • 3+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, strategic project management, or related fields.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong project management skills—organized, detail-oriented, and able to run structured workflows.
  • Proven ability to create executive-level presentations and summaries that simplify complex issues.
  • Experience communicating at senior levels both internally and externally (partners, clients, or customers).
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills; strong financial background with the ability to build and distill financial models into core business takeaways.
  • Exceptional communication skills—clear, concise, and executive-ready.
  • Comfortable working across technical and commercial teams across a wide variety of subject areas.
  • A self-starter with a collaborative mindset, able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with or interest in aerospace, transportation, defense, or emerging technology sectors.
