At Joby, we've been working to make that dream a reality since 2009 and we're now in the final stages of certifying our aircraft with the FAA. With plans to launch our aircraft in the US and Dubai, we're now scaling manufacturing and preparing for the launch of our commercial service.
The Recruiting Sourcer will partner closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and cross-functional leaders to identify and engage top-tier talent across niche technical disciplines. They will leverage advanced sourcing strategies, market intelligence and outbound engagement to ensure consistent access to high-caliber candidates. They will work closely with hiring managers to deeply understand role requirements, team dynamics, and long-term workforce plans, translating this knowledge into targeted sourcing approaches. This includes market mapping, competitive research, passive candidate identification, screening for technical and functional alignment, and driving best-in-class candidate experiences throughout the process. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, fluent in sourcing tools and platforms, skilled in crafting outreach that converts, and motivated by the challenge of scaling hiring in a complex, engineering-driven environment. This role is on site 3 days a week in one of the following locations: Santa Cruz, Marina or San Carlos, CA.
This is a temporary role, anticipated to last 3-6 months. The target base pay for this position is $45-$60/hour. The compensation package will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
