Joby Aviation is seeking a highly organized, passionate individual to help lead the Dayton Quality Control
team.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Quality Control, you will assist in planning, coordinating and
directing respective aspects of quality control at the Dayton Facility.
The Quality Control Manager will lead a team to ensure the smooth execution of quality processes and
inspections to ensure the safety, reliability, and compliance of aircraft systems and components.
The Quality Control Manager is responsible for guiding and developing an organization of inspection
supervisors, leading a team of inspectors, across assigned areas of the Marina manufacturing system.
The role will be responsible for quality training systems, continuous improvement of quality and
inspection processes, and compliance with internal and FAA Regulations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management and quality control. This role
will involve close collaboration with quality engineering, cross-functional teams, and internal
stakeholders. The Joby Aviation team is made up of extremely talented, hardworking, proactive, and
hands-on individuals, operating in a very fast-paced and rewarding environment. We are looking to
expand this team with like-minded individuals looking to make a mark in the transportation industry.
Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $71,700 - $149,600 per year. The compensation package will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
