Joby is seeking a Sr Manager, Strategy & Business Development (Special Projects) to serve as the #2 on the commercial side of a confidential, strategically important new business. This is a high ownership role for a structured operator who thrives in ambiguity and can drive the analytical and execution engine behind complex deals.
In this role, you will lead critical workstreams across go to market strategy, pricing and unit economics, proposal & pipeline development, partner engagement, and deal execution. You’ll work cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Finance, Legal, Policy, and Marketing, and you’ll represent the team in internal and external meetings as needed.
This role is ideal for someone with a consulting / investment banking / high-growth tech background who wants to operate closer to the action - building real partnerships, shaping strategy, and helping launch a new business from the ground up.
Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $165,000- $265,000/year. The compensation package will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
