Joby Aviation’s Flight Research Division is seeking an aerospace leader to serve as Chief Engineer for an autonomous aircraft project. This role is responsible for technical and safety adequacy of the program and accountable for regulatory compliance for both civil and defense applications.
The Chief Engineer partners closely with department leadership and serves as a key member of program leadership, driving technical strategy, execution quality, and cross-functional alignment from concept through validation, certification, and operational deployment.
Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $185,300 - $245,000/yr. The compensation package will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
