Company Overview

Imagine a piloted air taxi that takes off vertically, then quietly carries you and your fellow passengers over the congested city streets below, enabling you to spend more time with the people and places that matter most. Since 2009, our team has worked steadily to make this dream a reality. We’ve designed and tested many generations of prototype aircraft capable of serving in a network of electric air taxis. We’re looking for talented, committed individuals to join our team as we push onward toward certifying the Joby aircraft, scaling our manufacturing, and launching our initial commercial service.

This role will plan movement simulations and digital twins of the production environment to drive efficient, rapid, on-time production and start-up of the new production capacity internally and with Contract Manufacturers for aircraft production. The right person for this role has designed tooling for all types of injection molding and metal-formed and drawn parts. This role will enable production systems and manufacturing models of the work environment for a variety of product lines, groups, or businesses, and will be integrated with both internal and external customers. If you are someone who wants to develop innovative, adaptive, flexible, creative approaches to manufacturing production systems and develop unified solutions for lots of stakeholders, then this role is for you.
