Joby Aviation is seeking an experienced motivated and detail-oriented Senior Recruiter to join our team and play a key role in scaling our BLADE team and other roles across Commerical Operations. This temporary role will be responsible for the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates for a mix of technical and business focused roles.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced setting, collaborating closely with senior leaders and hiring managers to attract top talent, and ensure a smooth, data-driven recruitment process. This role requires experience and an understanding of both technical and business positions, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for finding top talent.

This is a full time temporary role based in our New York City office and is expected to be onsite at least 3 days a week.

• Build and maintain a scalable recruiting strategy across teams you support and manage full-cycle recruiting efforts and offer negotiations
• Collaborate with department heads and hiring managers to build targeted talent pipeline
• Create and post compelling, accurate job descriptions aligned with team needs
• Source and screen candidates for a wide variety of roles across software, engineering, operations, and customer support roles
• Conduct structured interviews and coordinate technical assessments
• Follow up with passive candidates and nurture long-term pipelines for hard-to-fill roles
• Provide regular updates on recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, pipeline health, and hiring trends

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar field OR a high school diploma/GED and 10 years of relevant work experience or some combination thereof
• 7-10 years of full cycle recruiting experience
• Proven ability to understand and communicate complex technical job requirements
• Experience with applicant tracking systems and crms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized and adaptable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Strong sense of urgency and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Ability to be in person in our Hudson Yards office 3+ days per week

• Experience with iCIMS ATS system
• Experience with Gem
• Background in aerospace, high-tech or start-up industries

This is a temporary role, anticipated to last 6 months. The target base pay for this position is $49 - $65/hr. The compensation package will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
