Imagine a piloted air taxi that takes off vertically, then quietly carries you and your fellow passengers over the congested city streets below, enabling you to spend more time with the people and places that matter most. At Joby, we've been working to make that dream a reality since 2009 and we're now in the final stages of certifying our aircraft with the FAA. With plans to launch our aircraft in the US and Dubai, we're now scaling manufacturing and preparing for the launch of our commercial service.

In this role, you will lead a dedicated organization of senior maintenance leaders overseeing Part 135 operations, Part 145 Repair Station activities, the Joby Flight Academy, the Joby S4 flight test program, flight research initiatives, and supporting Quality and Maintenance Control functions. You will manage operations across multiple geographic locations to support a diverse fleet spanning flight test, flight research, general aviation, and commercial aircraft. Candidates must be eligible to serve as a 14 CFR Part 119 designated Director of Maintenance for Joby's Part 135 air carrier operations. Success requires an adaptable, forward-thinking leader with proven skills in mentoring teams, self-management, and driving operational excellence in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
