Aerial autonomy requires recording high bandwidth data from a number of sensors, from air data sensors, to accelerometers, to radio frequency and optical sensors producing tens of gigabits per second. You will develop software to log messages and sensor data onboard various testing and production platforms, upload logged data to the cloud, and build APIs used by engineers to access that data. You will play a key role in a small, fast-moving team by building the infrastructure required to support data-driven autonomous algorithm development.
The materials and processes engineer will work with the engineering team towards the goal of development, certification and production of eVTOL aircraft. The engineer in this position will be responsible for all aspects of metallic material selection and process development.

In this role, you will be working with the cell R&D and battery abuse testing teams to design test equipment, optimize processes, and develop software that will produce quality data to influence critical design elements of our vehicle.
